Ministries

Sunday Morning Worship. This is the apex of church life at  Clarkson.  Each Sunday morning, from 10:30 to 12:00 we gather to exalt God through a blended style of traditional and contemporary music, Scripture reading, and prayer.  Our worship culminates in the in-depth proclamation of God’s Word from the pulpit.

Sunday School Classes. We seek to meet the learning needs of the entire church through instruction in age-appropriate classes led by  qualified teachers.  Our goal is to equip believers to meet the unique challenges of the 21st century.

Home Fellowship Groups. We have Home Fellowship groups (HF) that meet in various locations in a half-dozen counties throughout the week for prayer, fellowship, and light study.

Wednesday Family Worship. There’s something for every member of the family each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM.

Youth Ministry. Our youth ministries are led by those who are most qualified and called to do so: parents.  The youth ministry at Clarkson seeks to blend biblical instruction with edifying activities that build character and develop lasting relationships.

Children. In addition to Sunday School classes, we offer after-school Seeker’s Club once per month, children’s church each Sunday morning, and various seasonal activities such as Vacation Bible School.  For our most precious guests we have a modern, fully-equipped and staffed nursery.

Women’s Ministries. The women meet together every week for a Precepts ® Bible study.  Other activities include craft nights and an annual women’s retreat.

Grounded in Grace. Grounded in Grace is the radio and media ministry featuring the teaching of our preaching pastor, Tony A. Bartolucci on WYSL 1040 AM and 92.1 FM. All of our broadcasts can be downloaded from the radio ministry website groundedingrace.com

Biblia Reading Group. We believe in the reading of good books.  To further that conviction, we choose a Christian classic to read and meet on a monthly basis for discussion.  We also have an extensive literature ministry and a small bookstore that sells solid Christian books and sermon audio at discount prices.

Other Ministries. Other Ministries include home Bible studies, men’s fellowship activities, family camping outings, and XYZ (our seniors fellowship). In the spring we partner with our sister-church, The Evangelical Church of Fairport, in hosting the Rochester Theology Conference. We also have our own annual “Clarkson Conference on Practical Christian Thought.”
